MUSIC WORKSHOPS AND BATIZADO FUNDRAISER
What: Music is one of the most important elements of capoeira! Music gives capoeira players energy to play and directions on how to play. An important relationship for any capoeirista to have in the roda is the give and take of the musical energy. Not only does a good capoeirista play in the roda, but should be able to take turns on any of the instruments to help give energy to those that are playing. This is a four class series open to all levels of students. Learn to string and play different rhythms on the berimbau, atabaque, pandeiro, and agogo.

105 for all (one free, due by March 2nd)
Other Details: We have a number of berimbaus available for use. However, if you have your own, please bring it along with your baqueta, stone, and caxixi. Funds generated from the workshops will go towards raising money for our upcoming batizado and workshops.
